Bob Flaherty mics up the first talent, John Carter, the creator of The X-Files. Interesting note for that day is that Mr. Carter had broken his right arm the day before in a skiing accident and it was funny to watch each report that entered the set try and shake his hand. He hadn't gotten a cast on the arm yet so it was awkward for the reporters once they found out.
